While I was on my comic spree of drawing the Joker and Ironman I decided to whip up my version of hellboy. OM NOM NOM!
I drew this a week ago but hey, gotta keep you coming back…no sense and giving it all away on the first date. Thats right. I’m working on Abe Sapian next…not sure whats after this.
I love hellboy let me tell you what. I love the art style, I love the character design…but most of all I love the writing…I know! Thats what I said! He doesn’t say much, thats what makes it funny! He just clobbers the hell out of the bad guy and always follows up with a smart ass comment. I know what you’re thinking again, and it’s true HB and myself are a lot alike. We get angry easily and the closest distance between two points is to make your own route. Now that I mentioned it, I am wearing red right now actually haha.
I also realize that the hand is kinda at an awkward angle but hey, thats fine with me. Looking at it now I think this is a good rough, like all my works really I’ll just redo then on a whim. I was taught in college to treat all my works as roughs and disposable so I wouldn’t focus too much on them and I have to say that it’s finally starting to sink in…and I like it.
