My “Yerba Mate” piece was published in the Seven Days newspaper this week. I also took some photos of my first published work and put them on my flickr. Click more to see them.
WHOAH BABY! I sent this piece in 3 months ago, I think. It was published in their Public Art section, page 53A. When I had sent this in I named the file “Yerba” which was supposed to be the title but they published it as “untitled.” OH WELL at least they spelled my name right, so I’m pretty excited about that finally making it in there.
This is my first real job as an Illustrator, I had to do 3 spots and 1 half page for the above article. I looked everywhere for this magazine, Barnes and Nobles, little magazine shops, even Borders Books and couldn’t find it anywheres, then my Aunt comes up to visit the other day and brought me a copy that got mailed to her house. I’m pretty happy to see my work in print, now all I have to do is keep it up! I’m sending out another wave of mailers after the holidays to the remaining magazines that were on my list.
This was another Illustration I did for the same Magazine.
