Toucan KaBLAMN!

(not really sure what type of Toucan this is, I took the reference photo at La Specola in Florence, Italy.)

Going back to making textures and cutting them out of paper, but still need to mix it with the ol wax jutsu. So far I’d say this is pretty nice, looks like my old professor Julia might have been onto something when she told me I should stick with cutting out textures. However, this piece is far from finished and I realize I don’t really know all that much about backgrounds. Where do I start?

  1. Nice colours. Diggin the triangular accents in the orange and the white scratches on the feet.
